Dr. Zainal Muttakin A.R.is a graduate of National University of Singapore Medical Class of ‘95. He completed his Paediatric Specialist Training in 2001 with M.MEd and MRCPCH. His subspecialty interests are Paediatric Infectious Diseases and Vaccines.
He was an associate consultant in the Paediatric Infectious Diseases Service of KKWCH where he managed a wide range infectious diseases including paediatric tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS and infections in critically-ill and immunecompromised children.
He was a clinical tutor, actively involved in teaching of undergraduate and post-grad medical students. He is an advocate of active parenting and breastfeeding. He is also passionate about parent education as he believes that a well-informed parent is a better care-giver to a sick child.
